Social Workers 

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' needs and develop individualised care plans
• Provide counselling and therapeutic interventions to address emotional and social issues
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community organisations to ensure holistic care for clients
• Advocate for clients' rights and access to resources and services
• Assist clients in navigating social welfare systems and support them in accessing appropriate benefits
• Provide crisis intervention and support during difficult situations
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client interactions and progress
• Stay updated with relevant social work practices, policies, and regulations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution
• Current registration with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Australian health and social welfare systems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with clients from diverse backgrounds
• Ability to conduct thorough assessments and develop person-centred care plans
• Experience in providing counselling and therapeutic interventions
• Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and ethical frameworks
• Strong advocacy skills and ability to work collaboratively with other professionals and organisations
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage a caseload effectively
• Proficiency in maintaining accurate and detailed client records
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning
